Tudor Collegiate Strategies has partnered with more than 110 different college and university admission and marketing teams. We’ve trained their staff and helped them take a more student-centered, personalized approach to their enrollment communications, as well as other recruitment activities.
Check out what some of the schools we’ve partnered with have to say…
Jeremy and the TCS team have challenged us to reframe the way we approach communication with students, families, and school counselors. They have helped us craft a relational communication strategy that is true to our institutional identity. It has transformed our interactions with students and driven us to record enrollment. They are truly a partner in that they are responsive to our feedback and available to any of our staff to talk through everything from drip marketing strategies to staff burnout. The whole admission team knows Jeremy, has his cell phone number, and knows that he’s available to them when needed. It’s about relationships and that’s what TCS is all about.

I’ve been reading Jeremy’s newsletter for years, and after sharing dozens of articles with our team I thought it was time that they were able to work with him in person. The response from our Admissions Counselors has been amazing. Jeremy has a unique ability to make difficult topics fun to discuss and is able to bring the best out of each member of our team. In addition to the group sessions, his one-on-one conversations with our team members have helped each person grow and allowed us to identify opportunities for additional coaching and training. It’s rare that something makes everyone happy. Our work with TCS and Jeremy has certainly been one of those things.

Working with TCS and Jeremy has been a game changer. They inspired us to take a more audience-centered approach to our enrollment marketing and communications strategies and the effort has been well worth it. We can see in our data that it played a big role in enrolling our largest freshman class ever.

Working with Tudor Collegiate Strategies has been a huge benefit to our Admissions operation. With a limited staff, finding the time to write all the communications we needed to develop personal relationships with our students was impossible. The monthly communications we receive are easy to incorporate and they consistently produce conversations for our counselors. TCS really understands who we are, and they help us explain how our student experience is different. We often hear from students and especially parents how much they appreciate the time and attention we give them through our communications. Everyone feels they are receiving a very personal touch. I can also contact Jeremy at any time and he responds quickly no matter where he might be around the country. His expertise and recommendations are incredibly valuable.

Our two-day workshop with Jeremy set the course for the next two years of our recruitment efforts. Our team came away with practical activities to help with drafting emails, making phone calls, creating an elevator pitch, and much more. The workshop also boosted team morale, which is always a plus! To this day, when I have 1on1 meetings with team members, some will inevitable say, “I do this because Jeremy said…” The impact of the workshop is obviously still being felt and will continue to be felt for a long time to come!
Kenton Hargis Senior Director of Admission University of Evansville April 8, 2021
I was beyond excited when our leadership team agreed to host Jeremy for an admissions workshop with our staff. For the past couple of years I have been an avid reader of his newsletter. More often than not, I would find myself sharing his articles during our weekly staff meetings to encourage discussion amongst the admissions counselors on ways we could improve our recruitment efforts. Jeremy spent two days with us working through best practices and strategies to improve our recruitment methods – everything from crafting effective emails, planning on-campus events, and most importantly, understanding today’s students.

After subscribing to Jeremy’s weekly newsletter, we began using his articles as a professional development piece. Eventually we decided to bring him to campus for a couple for days to work with us, even though we had just enjoyed some record freshman enrollment. The training that Jeremy led was so customized to our needs and my team left feeling invigorated and ready to embrace another busy recruitment cycle. Although 2020 has seen more than its share of unexpected surprises and challenges, we’ve been able to use the tools and data Jeremy provided the team to continue to engage prospective students at a high level. Jeremy has continued to reach out to us to check in periodically and to offer helpful advice. We believe he truly delivers some of the best professional development out there for admissions officers and recruiters!

We enjoyed having Jeremy visit our campus two years in a row. Perhaps the most helpful were the questions he provided to our staff that allowed our team to get a better sense of where our students might be in the decision making process. Jeremy gave us a lot of actionable tips on how we could develop stronger relationships with our students and their families. This helped us build a foundation that we could lean into as we neared the end of the recruitment cycle. Both trainings were practical and fun for our entire team!

Having seen the added value of bringing TCS to Baldwin Wallace for an on-site admission counselor training session, BW subsequently partnered with them to also assist with efforts to write and edit recruitment materials. Over the course of a year, TCS produced or updated roughly 85 emails and print items. Many of the TCS edits and rewrites brought a counselor voice into the communication items, helping to spur engagement with prospective students. I found the partnership to be incredibly valuable, providing short-term lift as well as enhancing BW’s long-term capacity to improve our external messaging.
